Round 9: Anna Muzychuk became the sole leader |
 In the ninth round of the EIWCC Slovenian player Anna Muzyhcuk defeated another leader Romanian Cristina-Adela Foisor. Valentina Gunina made a draw in the game against her compatriot Tatiana Kosintseva and two rounds to go Anna Muzychuk became the sole leader in the tournament.
Valentina Gunina and defending European Champion Viktorija Cmilyte, who managed to win against Nino Khurtsidze, share the second place half a point behind.
